Cole Swensen had always loved music.

Together, they walked onto the America’s Got Talent stage.

And Simon Cowell pointed out that Cole could have given a great solo performance—but bringing his mother onto the stage turned it into something much more meaningful.
When the votes came in, there was no question.
Four judges.
Four “Yes” votes.
Cole and Judy advanced to the next round.
They later returned for the quarterfinals with an emotional version of Billie Eilish’s Birds of a Feather.
Although their journey ended there, their audition remained one of the most touching moments of the season.
